I think I actually like it on your Vette! Mine is a black on black so not too sure if it will look very good!
Anyone have some pics of one on a black Vette?
Thanks,Matt

I would also like to see one made in carbon fiber for a black Vette, but it would probably triple the price.

I agree with that range. I just wish there were a lot more people willing to commit to a purchase to get things rolling.

I dont understand the big fuss with the price. Its about the same or slightly higher than quality paint but with additional bennifits:
1) You can change your mind
2) It has a very nice finish, looks classy - something you cant get with paint.
I just dont get it? If it were $1,000.00 I could understand, but its $400 bucks...

I don't have a problem with the price.
Bought it from him (Ebay) for about $335 shipped, a great part for the money.
I have a torch red vert with a black top and this black panel looks great. It has a nice sheen and texture to it and no way paint woud look this good. I am sure a quality paint job would cost about the same and the paint edge would be a problem when waxing the car unless you clear the complete bumper cover.
I installed it dry and took about 15 minutes. It can be removed but don't know why I would want to.

I would be interested at $250. Count me in as part of the GP if this were the case.

It don't look so good on this one. Then again, the whole car looks like crap after making over twenty 170+ MPH runs on the Utah Salt Flats
