Default Electrical Problems

Well, about a week ago I first had a problem with my power seat. The motor was constantly running and killed my battery. So I pulled the fuses for the seat controls so I wouldn't have to jump it all the time before I got my part in. Now, I realize that everytime I get in, I can hear a very high pitched sound that seems like its coming from under the dash on the drivers side. I think this is problaby the cause of my continuous battery drain. I read the sticky about cleaning ground connectors and I will try that tomorrow morning. Any ideas or help? Thanks.

My car also makes the high pitched sound that you're refering to. It starts when I open the door, and stops when I start the car....

Do you have problems starting your car as well? Like the battery is dead?

Generally speaking, no, as long as I drive it once a week (it's not a daily driver). During the winter, if I let it sit for a couple of weeks without charging the battery or starting the car and letting it run, the battery would lose it's charge, however.
