There is barely any noticeable difference between the two. At first, the new clutch engaged a little higher up on the pedal but that was it. Pedal weight is exactly the same.
Is it easier to break loose the tires when powershifting??
Definitely. The added clamping force is very noticeable esp. when powershifting and spraying at the same time. My orig. clutch would slip a bit, not anymore with the '01 spec.
Why did you replace the slave - should I do that too??
Yeah, I would highly recommended doing so. The slave cylinder is easily damagable esp. if you like to powershift. Reports of the pedal sticking to the floor on hard runs are quite common. Besides, the cost is cheap and it'll be unbolted when replacing the clutch anyway.
