Ok, so its stuck in 4th. I was on the highway and it just decided not to go in any other gear. I wasn't racing or getting on it, it just decided, "oh, no more fourth for me" So it went in 4th, wouldn't go in any other gear. (its a 2002) Good thing is i made it to the house in 4th. And i have a feeling, thats about the only good thing.
This happened to me and it was one of the adjustment set screws for the Hurst shifter came loose and jammed the shifter. I was quite relieved when I saw this verus the thought of internal failure.
Do you have an aftermarket shifter? Several member have issues with the lock-outs. Sugested you remove those as our trany has them built in (one less thing to have issues with ESP if you do not lock-tight them). I hope it is not worse, as I had a syncro issue, on the last month of my warenty. Good luck!

Yes i have a hurst. Should i put my factory shifter in and see if that changes anything?
I've gotten quotes to rebuild it, but while its out, i might aswell put a new clutch in. Anyone know the best for 450-500 torque, 550hp?

I would open it back up and hope for a lock-out from the Hurst jammed into it. I hope it is something small like that. As far as a clutch, I have an aussie in mine and love it. I launch the crap out of it with DOT slicks and it just loves it!

The 3-4 synchronizer keys are broken/damaged. This is the #1 failure with all T56's. The upgraded keys are billet and will not break. Give us a call and we can fill you in on all of the details, including the LS7 clutch.
