Default make it louder

I have a corsa street touring exaust system. I want to make it louder without destroying the system or removing the mufflers. Anybody have any intelligent solutions.

I have long tube headers, hi-flow metal matrix cats and an x-pipe with the Corsa touring (the Corsas went on first using the stock manifolds, cats and h-pipe). The headers, cats and x-pipe didn't make the exhaust that much louder when driving normally. They did change the quality of the sound however. With the headers, you can hear the separation of the pulses a little more but nothing to write home about.

From time to time I wish the exhaust was a little louder but when you go WOT or even mildly punch it, the car roars.

If you want it louder at idle or just driving around you will have to change the exhaust. If the Corsas are in good shape you should be able to sell them on the forum. The Corsa exhaust is a great system and people are always looking for them. There are folks that bought more agressive systems that have gotten sick of the drone and resonance at cruise speeds and would maybe swap with you.

you should get lots of answers on how to make it louder but half destroying the system. I read a post a couple of years ago that folks with the touring system could contact Corsa and get info on how to go to a indy system which is much louder. You may want to contact them direct. Otherwise, some folks on the for sale and trade section maybe willing to swap you for a different one.

Remove the cats with either an off-road x-pipe or cut them out and replace the section with exhaust pipe. Night and day difference in sound. Don't forget your O2 sims or you'll throw a code.
