Default CEL - Bad O2 Sensor possibly?

So when i bought my car a few months ago, the PCM had the following codes... they seem to pop up every now and then... i've looked them up and haven't had much concern.

P0461 - Fuel Level Sensor Performance ( I see this when my gas gage fails... but it usually goes away after a restart...)

P1431 - Fuel Level Sensor 2 Performance - same as above

P1571 - Powertrain Indicated TCS Malfunction - This one used to make sense, as i had codes in my TCS before... but now i don't (Fixed it), and this one still stays... Stuck in History. Even when i Reset it, then restart my car, it's back in History... never current.. TCS works fine as far as i can tell.

Then i Installed Dynatech LT Headers. At first there were no additional codes... but then P0153 started showing up every now and then. I also noticed my car seemed to run a bit richer than before... like more black smoke would come out... Then after a couple weeks, P0153 started occuring every time i drove my car... and finally this morning the Check Engine Light came on and the only code Current in the PCM is P0153...

Would CEL come on and not show a code in the Computer? Do bad O2 Sensors cause CELs? What does a HO2 Sensor cost to replace?

Thoughts, questions, comments, all welcome.

Thanks
Dan

Is it ok to have a Tuner remove the codes and recalibrate the system? I'm assuming that completely ignores the O2 sensors then...

Is that Okay?

A tuner can remove the rear O2 sensors and delete the codes but the front O2 sensors cannot be deleted.

Well - I took it to Tom Wong's Performance & Engineering in vancouver WA and he deleted the O2 sensors. Because he said the change won't effect the engine at all, i'm assuming those were the rear O2 Sensors that got deleted.

Regardless, the car seems to run fine, and the CEL and P0153 code is gone... so no more bad O2 sensor for me...

Thanks
