ok this is dumb, but i loaded the cd player in the trunk, now how do i actually play them from the stock am/fm cassette player? I can't find the right button(s) to push...
ok, followed the instructions but cd's won't play. i get an ERR on the radio after seeing that cd 1 track 0 comes up. the unit reverts to the FM i was listening to before i tried the cd. any suggestions out there my fellow CFer's?

Did you put the CDs in correctly? IIRC, the shiny side must be facing up when you drop the CDs in the plastic holder. If the label is facing up, you will get the ERR message.

I don't think that's correct; the label should be up, shinny side down for it to work, I just checked in my car...
Steve, you left me a voice mail a while back saying you were sending me pictures. Don't know what they were but I never got anything.

After trying all these, shined a light into the 12 disc changer looking for dust, found an old cd stuck in their, pulled it out with a bent nose needle nose pliers, hit reset button, then aux, PLAYS LIKE NEW.
