Just press in the button several times and then try again. Do a search on the forum and there will be directions and pictures on how to change hazard switch/relay.
It is the Hazard switch located right behind the hazard button. i just replaced it in my 2001 zo6. it gets very fustrating when u are in traffic pounding on the dash and pressing in the hazard button several times. i got the switch for 24.00 with my discount which was 25% off from the dealer. there is in easy way to doing this without taking the dashboard apart. you will have to remove the console front bezel temperature unti and pull the radio out there is a great write up on the zo6vette.com website pm for any questions.
