Can anyone send me a picture or something on where to cut the stock H-pipe to install a Bassani x-pipe. I guess I can just lay it out after I take it off, but want to make sure I do it right.

Didn't it come with instructions? Usually they tell you how to measure for cutting the stock H-pipe. You may want to call Bassani and see if they can fax or email instructions.
We cut my H pipe while it was still connected. Used a chain cutter. Works really good. As for measuring, we eyeballed it, marked it than double checked with measurements, triple checked again. We figured it would be better off a little short than long. (eighth inch). We did have the convience of a lift. We did not use the clamps Bassini included, we bought the stainless steel sleeve fit ones. After you tighten them up, you can still take them apart easily.
Thanks for the info, I bought the x-pipe from another forum member so I had no instrctions. If I had bought it new at their price and had no instructions I would have been PO. Thanks again.
I bought mine brand new from new era. It came with torca clamps, bolts, and gaskets. I must say... Bassani + LTs + Corsa Indys = sweet
I just measured the overall length of the original H pipe section, then the X-pipe, and cut it accordingly. a little bit shy of 2 inches can be inserted into the Bassani X-pipe.
Man, I love my Bassani X pipe, it took away some of the sharpness of the Indys, yet gave it a more racey sound. Awesome.
Mine bassani came compelete with hardware as well, but it did not have instructions. With someone to assist you, hold it in position and mark; double and triple check. Get a chain pipe cutter from Autozone (loan-a-tool) and it will cut through the OEM pipe like butter.
