Default LS2 TB IAC not working

I have a 01 C5 With a 402, LS2 TB and a Adapter Harness. My IAC is not moving from 149 where it is set. I put a stock GTO TB on it and it still didnt move. Is there a chance that the wires on the adapter harness are pinned incorrectly?

do you have a service manual and a multimeter?

by the way, I know what a IAT and TAC are, what is an IAC?

The plugs on the adapter harness only connect one way. You may have bent a pin, I would check that first.
Are you tuning, or tuned using LS1edit, EFIlive or HPTuners?

I have heard of this being the case. Send me an email and I will send you the wiring instructions. With that and meter you should be able to figure it out.

There is no such thing as an IAC on a driveby wire (ETC) throttlebody.
Only Cable drivin TBS have and IAC

In the tuning why do people set the IAC steps to 149 instead of 310? Does the motor control the IAC with the throttle plate?

This sounds like the 2 white wires on the existing plug. I can give you the pin # and wiring order by wire color.

It is a setting within the PCM. I asked earlier if you had tuning. LS1edit, EFIlive or HP tuners can open the throttle position at idle. The wiring harness is a plug in play.

The Harness must not be a plug and play deal if everyone on here and multiple illustrations show the Green and Yellow wire being tied together and the purple and white being tied together. The other end of the plug and play harness does not use the yellow and the white? Am I not supposed to tie these wires together before the plug in harness?

There are two sets of - and +5 reference voltage wires so the [Green & Yellow] and [Purple & White] are the same thus you can combine them or not.

Now it makes sense, in all the posts about this I have not seen anyone mention this. Thanks for the info.

On my adapter harness the two white wires from the existing side are not used. All other colors match up. On the other plug, yellow to yellow brown to brown.
