Default Stock output shafts suck!!!!!

Ok the stock GM output shaft is set up to fail. I know I know their not ment for my 430hp but still. For all of you that have seen one know what im talking about, mine broke off right at the gear. On the very smallest part of the shaft. Ill get a pic up for those that havnt seen one. Man my LPE one looks soooo much better, and was 60 bucks cheaper than a stock one from GM. odd huh?

GM is not stupid.. They know people are gonna break em. They are hoping they do it after the warranty...

I run the LPE shaft in mine...but I only run 460 RWHP..

Replaced it when we did the 3.90's...Should be good for the 402 going in..

Dumb question. How did you know you broke it? Loud noise, won't go forward etc?

Well i was at the track on street tires. Went to "clean the tires off". Poped the clutch, and their was nothing thier. No noise no grinding nothing. Car would do nothing, go no where. Pulled the drivers side spindel off and there it was half of my output shaft
