Default Noisy lifter
I have a stock 1999 Vette that I purchased last spring. On cold starts I get what sounds like a noisy lifter that lasts a couple of minutes. This is something that I plan to look into this winter and was wondering if anyone has had the same problem? Changing the oil made no difference.

Could be a couple of things, which oil filter are you running? Could be piston slap too, hope not. Doubt it is a rocker as the noise wouldn't go away.
