Save a bunch of $ and build them your self. Go to the local sports store and purchase 2 hockey pucks ( yes - hockey pucks ). Next go to Lowes or Home Depot and purchase 2 - 1/4" eye bolts. Drill a 1/4" hole in the center of the puck all the way through and then drill a 1/2" hole on one side till it is deep enough for the nut to sit in and not protrude. Push the eye bolt in - you want a tight fit, put on nut and hammer it into the puck. Take hacksaw cut excess bolt off. Jacking pucks for less than $5.00 and an hour of your time !!!!!! Mine work great.

This is why I bought solid aluminum from a reputable company.

Same boat your in. My Z sits real low. Maybe it's been lowered, I don't know. I bought some ramps at Wal-Mart (had to add 3 feet of wood for more tapered slope) and I'll use them to get it off the ground and use the jack from there. Stupid question, but the stands just go under the K-member and rear correct? I assume your suppose to put the windows down first. I've been told the will break from the flex.

I have the Elite Engineering pads. Great product. About $40 as I recall.

However, my mechanic says that his generic wood blocks would be fine if I didn't have the pads.

I did the hockey pucks, you don't even need the bolts just put the puck on the jack cradle and jack in proper spot Total cost about $4.00.

lol, yep, little wood blocks work just as good as those $40-$80 pads. Some people just love to spend money.

I made mine out of some left over 3" steel shaft that was laying around the machine shop. Put it in the power bandsaw and made four of them 1 1/8" thick.
