Hot wire question for cutouts.
I am wiring my QTP Cutouts. I removed the cigar lighter in the console and installed the QTP Toggle switch there. It was a little bit of work but it really fits well, looks good and is steath. I ran the wires to the cutouts to the rear of the car via under the console and wires exit thru the hole where the park brake cable slips through.
Every thing is fine except I used the hot wire from the cigar ligher. There is a problem with that because it is hot all the time and the toggle switch stays lit.
Anyone know where a hot wire is that is near the console that is easy to tap into????????????? It needs to go on and off with the ignition.
