I have done a search and didnt come up with much so I am going to ask this anyway what is the best plug gap for the ngk tr55 plugs on a stock motor with just a blackwing and ghl mag exhaust.
I was told to gap them at .040 by my tuner yesterday when i had my car dyno tuned but i wanted to see what everyone else is gaping theirs at before I install them tonight.

Thanks Randy
I use NGK TR55IX plugs and I leave them at their factory, out of box, gap which is 0.060 or 0.055 (not sure which).
General rule of thumb I've used for a N/A application is for every ~100 HP added, close the gap by .010, and with the addition of a hotter ignition, open it back up by .005.
Thanks guys I call my tuner this afternoon and when he told me .040 we were talking about nitrous and fi cars so it was my fault and you are all right they are supposed to .055 just like everybody is saying.
