backup light switch
I went to replace the backup light switch in my 01 6 speed, and the new switch looks like it has pipe thread.
does anyone know how far to screw it in?
is there a measurement as to how close the whatever in the trans is supposed to be to the ball on the switch?
maybe that's why they fail, they are screwed in 2 far??

When I pulled my old one out it wasn't in all that tight, when I replaced mine, I just screwed in till snug. Nothing scientific or anything. Tested and it worked.
