wheel torque specs
I need to re-install my wheels after a caliper paint job. Anyone know the wheel torque specs. Could not find in search. 50th AE

Make sure that you alternate from side to side when tighting them down . Don't do it sequentially as the wheel will not be flush with the rotor and there for wobble.

The correct procedure is to tighten them in increments of 30, 60, and then 100bs. You are not supposed to go from 0 straight to 100.

after driving it about 50 mles I would re-torque. Break the bolt lose and bring it back to spec one at a time. It's much better than just hitting the bolt with the wrench to spec.

the spec is a dry thread spec ... that means no lubricant....
