Code not found- is it a real problem?

Code not found- is it a real problem?
Need someone's evil genius help here, I see an active (h and c) code under 10PCM of P0442 yielding a check engine light. I have checked the varied code decryption sites and can't find this one. I am hoping to go on a trip tomorrow (on my wedding anniversary) to the hills but am concerned about walking a great distance due to breakdown if this is a real problem. Any thoughts?

All cars after 95 have whats called system readiness test the code you have is most likely your gas cap. I dont remember but there is a cycle number when the car is turned on the system will pressurize the fuel system if it sences the slightest leak you will throw a P0442 code. 9 OUT OF 10 TIMES ITS THE GAS CAP!!!!! I would suggest getting a new cap and go from there. Im willing to bet thats your problem. Maybe we can ask a tech to chime in here to explain further. I dont see you having a problem with this code its just annoying so go on your trip and enjoy your anniversary
