Default Texaco Dexcool

Does anyone know if DexCool is still sold under the original Texaco/Haveline brand name?
I used to buy it at Walmart. Now WalMart does not have it, the local parts stores don't have it, and no one seems to sell it.

That's where I used to get mine as well, rats

Wonder if since the merge with Shell things have changed, have you tried their web site? I sent them a question a few years ago and the guy who lead the Dexcool development sent me back a really nice e-mail.

My local NAPA had the Texaco/Havoline stuff. Prestone also makes a DexCool compatible coolant in a silver gallon jug.

One of the local parts stores that used to have Texaco brand, now sells SHELL Dexcool. You may be right. Is Shell now part of the same company as Texaco/Chevron? If so, maybe they are changing over to the Shell label. I wonder if it is still the same formula?

Chevron and Texaco merged a few years back. ChevronTexaco and Shell are two completely separate entities. Shell is part of the Royal Dutch Shell Group.
