Default Fog light screens question

Just wondering if the stock plastic piece is removed when the Z06 screens are installed and if so would this not be a source for cool air for the airbox?

Why, yes, it would.

Glad to see you're amused. BTW, thanks for your write up on a new shifter install. It really simplified things quite a bit.

Glad to hear that, Uncle John.

Btw, when I ran my Blackwing with Z06 screens and the foglight shrouds removed, my engine coolant temps were a bit lower and more consistent - especially in the summer - than when I went with the Vararam which stole the cold air for the intake from the engine compartment by channeling it from the front slots to the intake. The engine bay temps went up a bit due to no more cool air coming into the bay from the front slots. It's a tradeoff when you go for lower IAT values. I think a larger radiator is on my winter mod list.
