Yesterday I took the '02 Z out for a drive and noticed that the temp inside the car just seemed warmer than it should be. I just had it set for open vent, since the temps were pretty comfortable outside. Well come to find out that the passenger side was blowing hot air. I tried everything I could think of with the controls, even setting the AC to run, and in that case I had cold air coming out of the driver side and hot air coming out of the passenger side. The control for the passenger side didn't seem to make a lick of difference.
I shut off the car for a few minutes and restarted it thinking maybe something just got confused in the heater/AC controls, to no avail.
Anyone ever run into this problem before and figure out what needs to be done?
The only thing I have done recently that MAY be significant is that I used my Diablo Predator to reload the performance tune after having the stock tune on it for about a week. Yesterday was the first time I have driven the car since doing that.....
There are 2 actuator motors on the dual climate system. I'm having probs as well, the passenger side blows cold and drivers side quite a bit warmer.
Its looking like the actuator motor is not fully opening or closing and you should be getting a hvac code B0441 left, B0446 right actuator out of range or possible feedback codes. http://198.208.187.182/internet/Vehi...e=24&part=6848
