But at the same time , i blew my air bridge into little itty bitty pieces and destroyed my maf in the heat of summer in florida on stock jet settings because manufacturers tend to setup their jet settings on the rich side which is good unless your running in the dead of summer .
My bottle was low combined with rich jetting and track temp and poof ,, about 700 bucks worth of stuff was toast at 3/4 track in the blink of an eye ,, not to mention it scared the hell out of me when it backfired at 100+ mph ,, hehe
Oh yeah puddling sucks, I am not a huge fan of spraying fuel through the intake though. I like to tune for a dry kit spraying through my maf and using larger injectors. Something a wideband is very useful in helping with. I am going to use a direct port on my fast though when I get it back from being ported for my new 402 though. I love the feel of a direct port punch. I will prob still have a single dry stage though through the intake before the maf unless I go SD which is so hard to do here in the south though since temps fluctuate so much.
My jet settings change from 62/31 to as low as 62/22 for a 150 shot depending on the time of year and humidity levels here in fla .
Spraying one kit then the other , adjustments had to be made because 62/28 and 62/28 is about 10.00 on the wideband so i watch each kit when fired and ended up with 62/26 + 62/22 and that put me at 11.8 a/f at 85-90 degrees .
