My 2000 Torch Red FRC has the chicken pox all over the front bumper and hood. What should I expect to pay for a "perfect" repaint and color match? Is there much money to be saved by R&Ring the bumper cover and hood myself? How about sanding out and prepping the parts before paint?

Since you mentioned "perfect", I would just say than most shops will tell you that they might have to "blend" the paint into the hood and fenders to get it close. They will probably end up disassembling and assembling the front end a few times to blend it satisfactorily.
By the way, if you really are a cheap %#*@#+$ er....person... you might consider accepting something less than perfect. Otherwise the two terms are almost mutually exclusive...
