how did the ports line up with the American Racing headers?
The spacing was perfect, there is definitely room for improvement on the exhaust ports.

ARP short studs worked fine w/ the L92's?
Yes, they worked fine.

I recognize those v/c's
We're going to swap the valve covers out in a couple of days for something that looks alittle better.

Well without seeing the cam specs it's a little hard to out-predict you, but knowing Phil will dial in all that, get the quench just right and tune it to a T, I'm thnking more like 470-480, but a safe call at 450+ rwhp.

Nice setup,

Nice setup,
I would be upset if it didn't hit 500rwhp atleast. I amlooking for around 550rwhp from my 402 build.

We got pretty damn close to starting it tonight. Tomorrow we need to pickup a dipstick, exhaust gaskets and plugs. Motor is 100% buttoned up and full of fluids. If all goes as planned we should have some noise tomorrow.

Did you guys do any work on the manifold (i.e. port matching) or just slap it on? Any work to the heads to clean them u p? I wonder how this setup will compare to "traditional" heads (AFR, TFS, ETP, etc.) w/ a ported FAST 90/90. From what I've read about the heads they outlow all the aftermarket right out of the box.

I may just have to come up and play golf in the spring

We slapped them on out of the box. I really want to see what this setup will do - stock. I have a feeling that a set of ported heads are in the future. Several people are working on their CNC program now. Richard at WCCH and I have spoken about before and after numbers when he gets his L92 CNC program dialed in.

The course is in great shape!

Maybe tonight. I haven't been this excited since the night of my first date with Rhonda Roundheels in high school.

You guys must not realize I have a full time job and that wrenching on cars is my hobby. The car is buttoned up and outside under a car cover. We just got the injector O-rings late last night, they will be on sometime tonight.
