...if you hit something hard enough, it's possible to do internal damage to the battery I suppose, especially an oem lead acid design. If it's the original battery, it might just be a coincidence. The original batteries do tend to fail w/o prior warning.
It's also possible the impact has caused something to short out drawing current when it shouldn't be.
Did you check the battery terminals to confirm they're still tight?

Several possibilities; i.e., loose or corroded battery terminal connection, bad battery, charging system problem, excessive current draw. Start by inspecting the battery terminal connections and having your battery tested. Then go from there.

The following link speaks to the proper way to test a battery. Too, it talks about the charging system and parasitic load.

CAR BATTERY FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Also the following thread contains some excellent information on testing for excessive current drain. (See Bill Curlee's replies in this thread.)

battery drain possibly?

the battery cables are fine and everything looks fine. I read the thread in the link, but I still dont know how to stop the excessive draw. what else should I do.

What is the actual current draw of the electrical system when the PCM and BCM are in the sleep mode??

You need to measure this value and post it. Obtain a digital volt meter that can measure current (up to 10 amps) and place it in SERIES between the negative battery cable and the negative battery terminal.

After the car powers down and sits undisturbed for approx 2-3 minutes (with ALL power consuming devices secured ie radar detectors, interior lights, trunk lights, "HOOD LIGHT" ect) the amp meter should provide you the sleep mode current draw.

Please post that value.
