Re: Where can I get a replacement allen wrench for the Momo shift *****? (C5Noir)
The MOMO's do look nice. But if you want to really "feel" the shifts get the Delrin **** from http://www.hardbar.net. The leverage this grip offers is sweet.
I was tired of the feeling that the MOMO was going to come off in my hands.

Argh.. My MoMo base got STUCK today. Tried getting it apart with pliers... Still stuck BAD. Now the set screws are chewing up my Ripper threads and it's stuck and twisting! :(
Gonna have to go buy some tools tomorrow AM to strip it off..
Luckily I have 2. Sounds like y'all are ok for parts.
Gonna be on my 3rd **** shortly.. Air Race Carbon..
Hope it didn't destroy my Ripper...
How well do the Momo ***** fit on the C5? I am thinking about buying one because they are a bit more stylish than the after market C5 *****. but it sounds like they don't fit well. One distributor said that they install them by wrapping teflon tape around the shifter threads and filling the **** with a metal putty. Then when you want to take it off you just unscrew it. This sounds like it may work but kinda a hassle. I don't want something that fits "OK" -it should be solid.
I am not very good at working on the car but I put the Momo Race Air Leather on mine. I had no problems with the fit of the new ****. The biggest hassel was getting the stock one off. I finally got it when jamming two flat head screw drivers under the pin. I love the new ****.
