I'm looking to attach a home-built stainless steel badge plate between my Corsa Touring exhausts. Plate is 7"x6 x 3/16" and polished up great!
Now I want to find a double-sided tape that is aggressive enough to hold the plate securely but not so aggressive that I won't be able to remove it if I want to make a change.

Don't remember the brand, but at Home Depot I bought 2 sided tape that was specifically for outdoor use and made to withstand wind/rain/etc. I used it on my side cove vents. Has worked flawlessly. It came in a roll in a plastic package and the stuff itself was greyish in color and had red backing to peel off. Ask an employee and I'm sure they can help you locate it.
The important thing is to make sure you clean the surface well. Id shoot it with brake cleaner, then follow up with degreaser and water and lots of scrubbing.
If not already said I use 3M double sided tape for a lot of things and even for things on the work truck and cars ! You can get it at any Walmart Home Depot Lowe's you get the picture! It works great and last a long time with it also being easy to remove when ready!

3Ms tape works well. Just make sure you clean both areas with rubbing alcohol before you stick the tape. I have had my exhaust plate on for 5 years and it's still there.
