Default Slotted/Drilled Rotors

My C5 has slotted and drilled rotors, they were on the car when I bought it. My question is can these type rotors be turned when the time comes like regular rotors or do you just have to get new ones. They are a long way from needing any attention, I just want to be prepaired when the time comes to do something.

Forgive my lack of knowldege but I have never had slotted/drilled rotors before. Thanks guys.

I have slotted/dimpled rotors and from what iv read here in a post a while back there not really good candidates to be turned somthing with the machine cutting blades, the get damaged real quick on slotted/drilled rotors, basically i think they are throwaways, but when it's time you could always ask a shop that does brake stuff.
good luck.

If they are two piece you may be able to replace the worn out rotor by putting a new one on the old hat.

Now im not sure on a Vette, but i have a Fbody with powerslots on it, and i had the same question and called around to some local Macine shops and they said they can be turned if they are not "out of round" They also just bacily said the best idea was to replace not turn them.
