Default valve covers

What are LS1/LS6 valve covers worth? I'm bidding on some on e-bay. Are there other options for valve covers and coil pack brackets?

97-98 valve covers are worth about 30 - 35 bux for the pair. the 99 and newer with the brackets are worth more. i would for around 50 - 60 bux you could get the covers and brackets

Wow!! I am absolutely certain that anything someone puts on that auction can be sold with the right back story to go with it. I remember maybe 3 or 4 years ago some guy collected navel (belly button, not maritime) lint for three or four years and put it is a Ziploc bag. He sold it on that auction site.

The calloway site (supporting vendor) has a vlave cover swap kit for about $150.00 but I couldn't tell what it included. I've got a '97 with perimeter bolt heads and a set of LS2 center bolt heads I'm wanting to put on. I've never seen the covers go for less than $60 on flea-bay and don't know what that includes.

I'm wondering if I get the valve covers do I STILL need to get the coil pack mounting hardware, or does the stuff from my perimeter bolt heads work. The pictures from the auction site seem to not have the coil pack mounts. Could be the Calloway option is actully most cost effective if it included covers, bolts, gaskets, and coil pack hardware.

If you are talking about the red trim covers on the LS6, they list for about $85 each new from GM. I bought one through my dealer brand new at a discount for $53.
Last time I checked, GMPartsDirect sold them for $43, but then they charge $10 shipping, so it ends up the same as buying them from my dealer.

you will need new coil mounting brackets as well....and BTW your FRC's won't fit very well.

I had to remove the the lower mounting studs to get mine to look half decent.
