running warm while cruising...

running warm while cruising...
Ok here is my issue. I changed my tstat 2 weeks ago since then it runs warm. Not hot but warm and this is the weird part. Now it will run at around 199-208 sitting stopped in traffic. It runs 214-219 while cruising 70 on the highway. How is that even possible?

Sounds like an airflow problem while cruising. Did you bleed the system to get the potential air bubble out?
One thing to check for air flow is between the radiator and A/C condensor. Leaves, grass, trash, etc. all have a way of getting lodged up in there. That would certainly cause airflow problems. Have you also verified that both of your fans are working? I had a dead low speed fan motor that I replaced when I put my new radiator in.
