My fuel pump fuse keeps blowing and i have eliminated the pump as a possibility. The short seems to be from the harness under the battery to somewhere along the torque tube. I am just gonna rewire the fuel pump. I have wasted enough time chasing wires. Any suggestions?
The fuel pump is the only thing on that circuit so it should be easy. Has anyone done this ?
I would focus on finding the short to ground. If the wiring for the fuel pump is shorting, perhaps other wiring is wearing in the same area. Look at it this way, it's not a waste of your time, and it can only get worse.
