Was not working when it got really hot - well that is the assumption right now. I replaced the tranny last year thinking that was part of the problem, but on the track after about 15-20 of hard driving I could no longer shift. I would just grind gears. It would not happen all the time, but it was getting to be annoying.
The RPS clutch was worn down evenly almost to the plate. I believe I installed it last year and it saw maybe 2 days of 1/4 just for testing and then 15 days of road tracks. Outside of that just street driving on the weekend. I have not sure on actual miles, but I am sure I could figure it out.
I know my friend had his installed around the same date and then had to replace it within a month or so because it was bad. He now has gone to the 1/4 mile a ton of times with no problems so my guess is that I got one of the bad batches except since I dont beat mine in the 1/4 it lasted longer.
Thanks for the update, I guess mine has lasted as it has only 10 1/4 passes on it and only hill country blasts. I will have to give the textrilla some thought the next time I need a clutch
