Go with Mobil 1. Most of the others like Red Line and Amsoil cost more. You are just wasting your money there because they meet the same specs. Go to Wally's World and get the 5qt. bottle of Mobil 1 10W-30. Use a good oil filter, steer clear of Fram, they are junk.

I like to stick with the same brand... As said earlier... "Brands that meets or exceed the GM4718M spec". There are plenty of brands to choose from.. Mobil 1 5w-30 is what I use.. Pep Boys Automotive usually runs a buy one get one free for Mobil 1. I can get a case (6 quarts) for around $15.00 or 2.50 a quart. I used Castrol Full synthetic on my Turbo Charged Talon.. The top half of the motor looked brand new, after 123,000 miles. I beat that hopped up rice burner to death, Car ran like a champ when I sold it at 130,000 miles..

What do you think about the higher mileage engines like mine, 125k. I live in Alabama and it doesnt get that cold here. I was thinking about going with Mobil 1 10w30??
