On stock wagon wheels 18x9.5 what is the largest tire I can run? I know this has been asked b4 but I couldn't find the answer in any searches. THANX

I would not go over a 285 wide myself but some forum members report they are running 295 without problem. Looking at manufactures specs on tire rack you will see that a min. of a 10" wide wheel is recommended for a 295 wide tire. I would go with the safe side of things considering tires are what keep me on the road, or at least one important thing that keep me on the road. JMHO

if you go to tirerack.com and research tire sizes they have tech info that will tell you the max recommended SAFE max tire width for a given wheel width - if you then and 4 inches to the tire width you'll have the max size some people on the Forum use and will recommend to you. Do you own reseach it's your azz you're putting over those wheels.

I’m running 295/35-18’s on the stock 18x 9.5 rear wheels. They look great (not so important) and perform great. I have paid close attention the contact patch. The full tread width shows even contact (judging by wear/scuffing from hard cornering and burnouts). I’ve been meaning to make a hard run and test the tire temperatures to make things a little more scientific.

At any rate the 295’s work great for me on the stock rims.

Im running 285/40-18 and they look good and no rubbing. IMO the 295's look small on the side wall.
