Anyone ever ran into this

I've read the stickied Ground Thread from Bill several times and started cleaning grounds last night.

Took the car out this morning after clearing all codes, and drove it hard!

After about 10 minutes, I got the usual, Sevice ABS, Service Traction Control, Service Active Handling, Service Vehicle Soon.

When I pulled back into the garage and reviewed codes, I got:

28 TCS - No Communication.....any ideas?

Thanks for the reply, nothing unconnected that would trigger that.

In addition, after the car sits for a bit, upon re-start the codes have cleared and it's smooth sailing, until about 10 minutes into a drive, then it re-lights...

A total guess but if you pull the stock radio you get a No Comm message. In other words the computer can't see the electronic unit.

Following the logic, if it can't see a component my guess would be EBCM on its way out but intermittent just now. Then again, Bill Curlee fixed his problem by cleaning up the ground.

Hope you find a fix. Best of luck.

Thanks...that's the route I'm taking. I don't think it's an issue with the ground(s) as I took apart/cleaned the ones in the engine bay already and didn't find any issues, but since it's intermittent and goes away, it very well could be.

Hopefully I can pull/test the EBTCM later today, appreciate the reply

Mean green destroyed his car shortly after that thread and that was 7 years ago. He has been long gone. Sad to say.
