you should have received a recall... it takes about 30 minutes.. to do the fix.. call first to make an apointment.. they need to the parts intock.. it is just a plastic guide that is put inside the retractor..
This happened to my 1999 C5 coupe (passsenger side) several times before the recall campaign.
Remove the sill trim (pull up - held by several clips) and then untangle the belt material.
Get to your dealer to have the parts installed for the seatbelt recall campaign (a small clip that is placed inside the trim panel to keep the belt from bunching up.)
Isn't it amazing that Chevrolet couldn't make a simple seat belt that won't jam, then it took them several years to issue a recall?
