Cool jacks!
I was watching the American Le Mans race yesterday and noticed that the cars had some kind of jacking system built into the cars under carriage. Can I get them for my C5? This would be a great way to lift the car to work on the brakes/wheels and to keep from getting flat spots on the tires when parked for long periods of time. Should I contact Pratt & Miller?

Anything can be done for a price. Having said that, the distance that a stock C5, or a lowered one for that matter, from the ground would be to far for an air jack to travel. Then there is the suspension travel, approx 8 inches on top of that that you would have to account for.
All in all, you would need about 16 inches of lift just to get the tires a little bit off the ground.
If you really want to, I'm sure I could fab you up a system for about 12 grand...

I knew a guy who used to rebuild those types of systems for race cars and they are very expensive. Also, as Willfulone indicated, the required travel would make for a very expensive customization of an already custom system.
