U/d pulley, charging problems?

of the post on other fourms i've read, the number one complaint about underdrive pulleys is the charging problem the cause with the alternator. have any of you experienced this?

I'm having mine put on next week but bought the overdrive pulley ($20) for the alt.
Did you change yours?
