I am planning this in the spring. Mike Mercury, Cajundude and Dope have some very informative web sites on this. I think the biggest thing is a transmission jack. I picked one up with a scissors setup rather than hydraulic because I think it will be easier to adjust under the car. I don't think there are any other special tools, but I will let others with experience speak to that.

Print off Cajun Dude's instructions, page by page, take them to your garage, and follow them EXACTLY! They are EXCELLENT, DETAILED (down to wrench sizes and numbers of bolts), and his sequences are great!!
