What doyou think about it curing the oil going to the TB?
Don't want to be rude but I have more experience with THAT particular filter than anyone else on the forum.

It will show you if you have oil going in the direction of the TB. But the mesh is designed to trap particles not vapors.

BTW: I have 3 of these

Ok... what about one with a paper filament, will it trap vapors?

I bet not. One guy has a fix for the FAST intake whistle. And that is running both vacuum lines together with a "T" then connecting it to the air bridge then connect the catch can to the PVC line and run it to the FAST intake...damn no pictures of this from him. But he says it stops the oil usage and the FAST whistling.

Well keep a little humor in your heart when you read my posts

Seriously.....I have done various setups and tested them during normal driving and track days. I have a box of used PepBoy filters both plastic and glass. I have even custom modified one of those. I currently have an AMW and two C/H filters.

And I have posted to EVERY PCV/Oil thread on the forum.......

Yes DH I need your input BTW I thought the problem was fixed on starting in 2001. My heads came of a 2002 ZO6..Thanks
Catch can wont reduce oil consumption, it will just prevent it from being sucked into the intake manifold. So get it regardless. The C5s also have a poor PCV system so after installing an oil breather cap from ECS, I reduced my oil consumption to 1/8 quart every 2000 miles or so. I suggest getting both units.

Elite Engineering has a new can for $127.00 shipped. Call ECS for the breather oil cap.
