Default First Visit to Cartek

Yesterday I called up Cartek to talk about some of the cam/head packages they offer, I ended up speaking with Dave. I cant even begin to describe how comfortable these guys make you feel and how honest they are with recommendations and advice. So I live only 52 miles away from the Cartek shop so I asked Dave if I could come by to check the shop out.

I hoped in the Z with my father and we took a ride down to Garwood to the Cartek shop. When we got there Dave was setting up a 502 Impalla on the dyno but came right down to meet us. From there we spent about an hour walking around the shop with Dave as he was explaining everything they do at Cartek. The wealth of knowledge and experience with Corvette's these guys have is probabally second to none. I was most impressed with the time that Dave spent with us and how much detail he explained about everything they do.

Im looking for some feedback on work that Cartek may have done on members cars.

I wonder if the guy with the 502Impala was as impressed with the time they took away from his car to chat with you...

The good thing is that Dave doesn't do any of the tuning so I'm sure no time was lost for the impala guy. Cartek will set you up nicely. They make some serious H/C cars. Be sure to let them know exactly what you plan on doing with the car so that they can tailor the car exactly to your needs.
