yes and I think either BigToe or Sensei Earl has done it, but I think it was BigToe...you basically have to buy 2 *****.....one "regular" aftermarket A4 know to get a piece that comes in the kit, I wanna say it's a shaft.
That new part/shaft allows you use an M6 **** on an A4....hope this helps

Buckmaster gave me the directions yesterday as I inquired about it:
I'll fill in the 2 blanks if you email me (hate to be biased to certain distributors)
--------------
I bought the A4 aluminum shift **** kit from (BLANK) and with that kit a "shaft" is included. When you remove the stock "button type" shifter a steel rod is exposed. The "shaft" kit slides over the top of the steel rod that is exposed when you remove the stock "button type" shifter. The Flameball screws onto the top of the "shaft". To light it up, on the bottom of the Flameball is a small "worm hole" where the light bulb/wiring slips into, then you fish the wire down through the leather boot of the shifter underneath to the where the Active Handling is. (BLANK) sells a wiring kit that a monkey could wire......no splicing is required at all and no evasive re-wiring or cutting involved. The kit they have includes "clamps" and you simply put the "clamp" over the wire that you're tapping into and close the "clamp" and it self-taps into the wire. You will know which wires to use with the easy directions they will provide with the kit. How you get to these wires is easy, open you glove box and you will see the edge of the panel where the Active Handling is, it simply pops off very easily with a small screwdriver and you will see all the
wires. I guess all of the above sounds like a lot but it really isn't.
