Front Bumper Repair

Hello all... I need some advice. I scratched up my front bumper around the license plate. Maybe a 2 feet wide by 6 to 8 inches tall. Small scratches from rubbing against another bumper (in a parking lot). I know what a smooth move on my part.
This is something I'm almost certain buffing will not fix... any ideas on what a reasonable estimate would be to sand and repaint? Does 600 sound fair?

I had mine (front bumper cover) done for around $700 - sanding and painting at a Corvette experienced shop. I an in the SF Bay area where things are normally more expensive.

As for pictures... i'd get them up if I could find the digital camera. Hopefully, I can get a few posted soon.

Thanks for the price for SF. It looks like I'm getting a fair deal, but you never know until you ask.

I'd start with rubbing compounds before I used sand paper.I have buffed out scratches that looked too deep. Good luck.
