guys: after reading yr posts on shock stuffers, i went out and looked under my vette. had a flashlight and there they were. SHOCK STUFFERS for sure. yellow plastic tabs sticking out of the boot of each rear shock. couldnt get under the front to check, but probably still there too. you guys are freaking amazing. i started the post to get new shocks because the ride was so bad. since my car is still under warranty i will be down at the chevy house monday to explain shock stuffers. i cant thank you enought for your ideas.. i will report onthe result monday. thank you again, olderguy

Glad it was an easy find! Don't let them keep your baby any longer than necessary (or find a local C5 friend that could help you pull them yourself).
And, if the dealer starts saying something like "those are supposed to be in there", just get your baby and run away!
Harsh ride on my 04 coupe was helped by insulation and losing the runflats, but only the Edelbrocks solved the problem for good. Handles as well or better.
