Default A4 is toast..

My plan was to put my car in "hibernation" all happy and ready for spring. As BS luck would have it, the tranny started slipping..

Here is the question,,, Who makes a real good tranny that can handle big hp? I know of RPM.. Anyone else? I have 700+ rwhp.

Thanks in advance..

Not sure how far Norwich is from Amityville, NY but The Vette Doctors re-built mine to High Perf. Standards and did an excellent job. They are the only shop that I allow to work on my car. www.thevettedoctors.com or (631) 841-0779

Default A4 trannys...

I would recommend Rossler, Century Transmission, RPM, and FLT, as some very good tranny builders.

You would have better luck posting this questions on the C5 FI/Nitrous
section as thats where most of the big HP players hang out. I hope to become your first choice.

Rodney,

How many HP will your trannys "reliably" handle?

Thanks in advance.

FLT builds a great A4...as long as you are not in a hurry.

They have the s l o w e s t turn-around/delivery time I have ever seen.
