Default ABS and Tracsion control lights

Both my ABS AND traction control lights come on then I shut off key and restart and then they go out....it every once and a while..anyone have idea why

It could be one of a few things

There are no codes...well my factory suspension has been changed to z06 shocks so there is always the check suspesion....but the air bag and abs lights come on...

Sorry I mis labeled the thread...its the abs and air bag at same time

Strange.

You'd expect some codes associated with EBCM, BPMV or wheel sensor if the lights stayed on. At least an H (history) code.

If there's no C1214 thats a good thing. That normally precedes a EBCM failure.

Random electrical faults have been known because of a bad battery. Worth having it checked. Autozone will do it for free
