Default underhood bulb?
I have gotten the general part # for the undrhood bulb, 561 and the GM part #. I thought I had tried the 561 and it did not appear to fit. Can someone please take a pic of the bulb and post, include # if on bulb. thanks in advance.

It is a 561. Just bought one today and it fits/works fine. Many GM products use this bulb.

it's uses some tension to keep it in there.. Loop the top part first (there is a small knotch) then pull it downwards to the other contact. be quick the bulb gets hot fast...
