It should be pretty easy to drain the coolant out of the radiator. First, open the surge tank cap to ease the fluid out. Then get under the car and set a low bucket of some kind under the lower passenger side corner of the radiator. Right above there is a plug (on my car it is made of white plastic). Turn that plug about a quarter of a turn, counterclockwise. The fluid will start pouring out.

The trick with the C5 is not the draining out, it is the refill procedure (to avoid air pockets).

Have fun

That will drain the radiator but not the block or heater core. You will have to fiill the radiator and get the engine up to temp and drain the radiator two or three times untill it drains clear. That should get most of it out. Or get one of those flush kits Prestone sells. It comes with a bunch of fittings one of which you can leave in for future flushes. As stated above have fun and watch where you throw the old coolant, it kills stuff.
