Default Doing Headers, Cam, Pulley, intake How would you attack it

I have started my purchasing and this is all I plan to do under the hood. I don't have any desire to change out my heads and will leave them alone. Only looking to tap at mid 11's on DR and sea level so I should be fine with a rear and stall. Anyways would it be best for me to purchase it all and do it at once to prevent repeated work, or are there things I could do without change? I assume if the heads are staying on I can do the headers and full exaust, and when I am ready for the cam I can do that with the pulley. Not sure if the intake comes off with a cam swap but might want to look into that as well. I am just trying to stage my mods for the winter. If you agree heads are needed then a set of LS6's might end up on the table. I set my winter budget at $3500 and the rear/stall is sucking up $1500 of that. How would you attack.

Do it all at once, the gains will be much more noticable (and fun).

I'm in Tracy too, just had Synergy install heads, cam, intake & TB, headers, pulley, injectors, radiator, dyno tune, etc., etc. PM if you want to look, listen or have any questions.

I did what you're doing. I did LG Pro's, Corsa Indy's, LS6 Manifold, Honker, 160° T-Stat, and a Powerbond Underdrive Pulley all at the same time. Difference was IMMEDIATELY noticable and after the tune the car is a blast. Picked up 40 RWHP and 35 RWTQ with a tune (and honestly, I think it's a bit low for what was done).

There's nothing wrong with doing cam 1st and heads later. That's what I did strickly based on funds available. You will get a great increase in performace with cam, headers, UD pulley and tune. There won't be a lot of repetative work except the valve covers (to remove pushrods)
Don't forget to change the timing chain and oil pump when you swap cams

Thanks guys I think I have it down. With the cam swap I did have the LS2 timing chain and LS6 oil pump. The LS6 heads, gaskets, and intake were a maybe.

if the funds are limited id go with the cam, pulley, tune. headers arnt that bad to install, but it would make alot of sense to complete the total package and then have it tuned....dont forget get the little things like upgraded springs, push rods to insure the best possible output of the upgraded parts...

that all makes sense. I am not going to tune until I am finished. Fortunately for me this guy wil be sleeping in the garage for the next couple months so a tune will not be needed. I just didn't want to do headers and then the following month go to do the cam and find out the headers need to come back off. I want to do each of these once. I do plan on upgrading the push rods, springs, etc...

I decided to do all at once (heads, cam, intake, headers, and even gears !). I waited to do my research and have all the funds to go for it. I figured once I have the car up in the air and taking it apart, why not do all. I take my time, step by step.
