Default A/C Recharge question

My a/c seems to not be as cold as it was. I dont use it a lot but sometimes its just a bit to hot for comfort. So I have the little recharge kit which comes with the gauge and gas and hookup fittings. The question is: there is a fitting with the plastic screw off cap located on the right side of the engine bay near the coolant tank. Is this the low pressure side? The instructions say be careful not to hook up to the high side. The reason I ask is, this thing is easy to get to and almost jumps out at you. I am so used to things being difficult its hard to accept that it would be this easy to find and hook up to so I want to make sure. I thought I also read the low side fitting is larger than the hi side and the kit will only accomodate the lowside fitting. I know this all sounds like a no brainer but when ever I attempt something for the first time I like to double check. Thanks for any help.

It's the fitting all the way back by the battery.
